About PTFE
Roy Plunkeet,a Dupont Chemist,accidently discovered this unique material,PTFE, way back in 1938.The residual powder which remained in the canister came to be known as Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It was later registered and patented by Dupont as Teflon PTFE Resin.PTFE material is widely used in the industrial society for various applications owing to its distinctive features.
